In Person Worship Guidelines for Re-opening

Effective Sunday September 13, 2020; 9:30am

We are planning to start in-person worship effective September 13, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. Please join us if you are able. If not, we will be recording the service for later viewing on our Facebook page.

Welcome back to worship!

Social distancing and wearing a mask will be required. If you do not have a mask, there are some available at church.

  • Enter through the front door only. The door will be propped open. Please use the hand sanitizer provided inside the door. No hand shaking or hugging, PLEASE.
  • Please remain 6 feet apart from others as you enter.
  • Bulletins will be placed in the open pews, except on communion days. See below for further information.
  • Offering plates will not be passed. Leave your offering on the table in the sanctuary.
  • Go directly to a pew. Please do not gather to talk at this time. You are welcome to do that outside after the service.

Where to Sit

  • Every other pew will be roped off. Proceed to the first pew open at the very front of the church. We need to fill these first to minimize people walking past other people. If we fill up open pews in the sanctuary, the overflow will be opened.
  • Family members may sit in the same pew together.
  • 2 non-family members may sit in the same pew but on opposite ends, at least 6 feet apart. You must enter and exit from the end of the pew you are sitting. Do not slide across the pew to get to the other side.

  • Singing will not be allowed at this time, you may hum, if you like.
  • On communion days bulletins and communion kits will be set out on a long table in the church entrance. The wafer/juice packets will be placed on top of the bulletins spread out on the table. Families can pick up more communion packets for their number of family as well.
  • Please do not use the restrooms, unless it’s an emergency.

  • After the service, please exit directly out the front door. The rows in the back of the church will exit first.
  • Please remain 6 feet apart from others.
  • You are welcome to gather outside to visit, but please use social distancing and stay 6 feet apart.
  • Please take your bulletin with you and discard it in the recycling bin in the entrance or take it home with you.

Thank you for following these guidelines!                                   August 20, 2020
